Princeton University / New Student Orientation

Families are part of the transition too.

Whether this is your first student off to college or your tenth, assisting in your student's transition to college is not a small feat! We hope that the next four years for you and your Princeton Tiger are some of the most memorable. Through Orientation we hope to provide heartwarming moments such as taking family photos on move in day, while also working alongside our campus partners to provide you with all the information you need to transition to a proud Princeton family!

Information for Families on Move In Day

Move In for the Class of 2030 will take place on Friday, August 21. All Class of 2030 students should plan to arrive to campus on between 8am and 1pm. An email with detailed information will be sent to Class of 2030 students in July. Check In for the Class of 2030 is at the Lewis Arts Complex Forum. If you are driving to campus on August 21, follow directions to the Theater Drive Garage, and additional signage will help guide you as you enter campus. After you park, exit the garage from the north and look for the balloon arch. Princeton Station, a spur route of the Northeast Corridor, is across the street from the Forum.
