Summer and Orientation 2025 Timeline 

May 1st: Orientation Registration Opens - Orientation Registration provides the Orientation office with information to assist with your Small Group Experience placement. If you have any questions, please email orientation@princeton.edu.

Mid May: Matriculation Online Opens - Available from late May through September to the incoming class, Matriculation Online provides access to a variety of forms to confirm contact information, select housing preferences, and submit medical information and other related documents. 

May 30th: Orientation Registration Closes

June 13th: Summer Engagement Program Assignments Sent Out

June 16th - July 13th: Summer Engagement Program - To provide incoming students an additional space to meet members of their class and have their Princeton questions answered by upper-class students, the Orientation program hosts a summer engagement program. Incoming students will be assigned to a cohort of 14-18 incoming students. Weekly cohort meetings will be facilitated by upper-class student staff known as Summer Engagement Coordinators (SECs).

End of July: Small Group Experience Assignments Sent Out

August 19th: International Student Move-In

August 19th - August 21st: International Student Orientation - Click here for more information on International Orientation. Note: international students will also be expected to attend all of New Student Orientation. 

August 22nd: New Student Move-In - Click here for more information on move-in. 

August 22nd - September 1st: New Student Orientation - Small Group Experiences will occur August 27th - August 30th.

Before your arrival on campus, many processes require action on your part. Timeline will open in May 2025 for the Class of 2029 and Transfer students and will help you keep track of all the processes over the spring and summer. Be sure to continue to check back as materials become available.
